BioThe Story Of The Fisher Queen
It begins with the queen as a girl--having to spend a night alone in the forest to prove her courage so that she could become queen. While she was standing there alone, she's visited by a sacred vision. Out of the fire appears the Holy Grail, the symbol of God's divine grace. And a voice said to the girl, "You shall be the keeper of the Grail, so that it may heal the hearts of men." But the girl was blinded by greater visions, of a life filled with power and glory and beauty. And in this state of radical amazement, she felt for a brief moment not like a girl, but invincible...like God. So she reached into the fire to take the Grail. And the Grail vanished, leaving her with her hand in the fire, to be terribly wounded.
Now, as this girl grew older, her wound grew deeper, until one day, life for her lost its reason. she had no faith in anyone, not even herself. she couldn't love or feel loved. she was sick with experience. she began to die.
One day, a fool wandered into the castle and found the queen alone. Being a fool, he was simpleminded, he didn't see a queen, he saw a woman alone and in pain. And he asked the queen, "What ails you, friend?" The queen replied, "I'm thirsty. I need a some water to cool my throat." So the fool took a cup from beside her bed, filled it with water, handed it to the queen. As the queen began to drink she realized that her wound was healed. she looked at her hands, and there was the Holy Grail that which she sought all of her life! And she turned to the fool and said in amazement, "How could you find that which what my brightest and bravest could not?" And the fool replied, "I don't know. I only knew that you were thirsty."

...inside the circle of the table, under the holy sword, a knight must swear she will obey to the eternal code, eternal as the table, a ring bound to honour.
A knight is sworn to valor, her heart knows only virtue, her blade defends the helpless, her might upholds the weak, her word speaks only truth, her wrath undoes the wicked.
The right can never die, if a man still remembers her. Words are not forgotten, if a voice pronounce them clearly, The Code always shines, if a heart preserves it brightly...

My teacher Merlyn who always remembered things that haven't happened better than things that have, told me once that a few hundred years from now it will be discovered that the world is round...round like the table at which we sat with such high hope and noble purpose. If you do what I ask, perhaps people will remember how we of Camelot went questing for right and honor and justice. Perhaps one day men will sit around this world as we did once at our table and go questing once more...for right...honor...and justice.

Take the story, take that Code, and take that last bit too, change around some details, add my "fools": a jedi knight, a naval captain, a carpenter, the court of Camelot, and Sir Lancelot du Lac, and you've pretty much got MY story. I've got a Masters in English Lit, a bunch of weird people in my head, some stories to tell and a whole lot of knightly aspirations.
